I've spent over 20 years in labor and delivery. In that time I have worked in different countries, in countless birthing facilities and with numerous doctors. I have, with my experience, come to the realization that the only way to guarantee the most meaningful and nurturing environment for a woman in her most precious and vulnerable moments was to establish my own birthing and wellness center.

I firmly believe that every woman has the innate wisdom, power and sensibility to birth her baby naturally. I've chosen to make this the foundation by which I've built this center and invite you to experience the birth of your child in an environment that doesn't belie the personal and spiritual importance of the moment.

Additionally, I want to provide the opportunity for women to experience general health care in an inviting and comfortable environment.

Natural Birth Center and Women’s Wellness is able to provide prenatal care and well women’s exams as well as serve as a safe and home-like environment for natural child birth. Our Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) is able to participate in your birth experience in our free-standing birth center, your home, or the hospital. Our center is the only free-standing birth center in Los Angeles and Orange County with a CNM who can manage your care at the hospital in the unlikely event of transfer. Our CNM also has Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification that enables her to assist in your care in the unexpected event of a c-section. This center is committed to achieve woman’s best birth experience in a family-centered atmosphere and is dedicated to empowering women and accommodating your cultural, religious, or personal requests within the circle of safety.

Birth is the manifestation of love and is a time for rejoicing. Countless births have occurred since the beginning of time but it is also true that every birth is unique and for the woman giving birth is an incredibly powerful moment. In that finite window of time when a new life enters this world it is without question a blessed moment. Our philosophy is that “moment” can be achieved naturally, with minimal or no interference, and safely. It is suspicion and fear that weakens our belief that birth can be achieved naturally but here at Natural Birth Center every act is designed to allow birth to occur as intended; naturally and joyously.
